Ms. Tirado and Mrs. Lay recently transformed a conference room into a World Ware II gallery with artifacts from the National WWII Museum's traveling trunks. Students engaged with items like sand from Iwo Jima, signaling devices and military garments. This opportunity fostered hands-on learning experiences, as Ms. Tirado and Mrs. Lay remain devoted to finding growing opportunities for inquiry-based learning! Kindergarten registration is now open! Students must be five years old by August 1, 2024, to be eligible. Due to the grade banded school transition for the 2024-2025 school year, kindergarten will be at Bauer, Bear, Medlar View and Mark Twain Elementary Schools.
