Welcome to kindergarten at Miamisburg City Schools, where we strive to embody our district vision of educating, innovating, collaborating, and inspiring young minds. We are committed to providing a nurturing environment that fosters growth and development, setting the stage for a successful academic journey.

At Miamisburg City Schools, we are proud to offer a comprehensive full-day kindergarten model that is accessible to all families, completely free of charge. This model is designed to give every child the opportunity to thrive and reach their fullest potential, laying a strong foundation for future learning.

We understand that every child is unique, and some families may have specific preferences or needs regarding their child's kindergarten experience. That's why we also offer options for families who may be interested in a half-day program or whose child may, based on screening data,  benefit from additional support due to limited preschool experience or having a summer birthday. When completing the online registration forms, families are encouraged to indicate their preferences and any specific considerations for their child's kindergarten experience.

We are here to support families every step of the way, ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention and resources they need to thrive.  Together, as a community, we are dedicated to creating an enriching and inclusive learning environment where every child can flourish. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education journey at Miamisburg City Schools. We look forward to welcoming you to our Viking family!

For the 2024-2025 school year, there will be four primary buildings that support kindergarten. Students will be placed in these buildings based on attendance boundaries.
