Miamisburg City Schools wants to spotlight our wonderful staff members! This week's spotlight features Sherry Wheeler, Educational Assistant at Miamisburg Middle School.

Miamisburg City Schools is funded through a variety of sources, including local, state, and other revenues:

- Local funding: 56.12%
- State funding: 33.21%
- Other revenues: 10.67%

While the funding breakdown highlights various sources of revenue, the majority—over 56%—comes from local taxpayers. Legislators are currently reviewing a variety of property tax bills that aim to provide relief to taxpayers. However, these changes could significantly impact the stability of our school funding. We will continue to monitor the legislation and its impacts while maintaining our commitment to providing a high-quality education to our Vikings.

The Board of Education has approved the addition of 3 professional development days for our staff during the reminder of this school year. Please be advised that the following days will be for staff development and NO STUDENTS will be in attendance. The remaining high school late arrivals have been replaced by these days. Thank you for your cooperation with this calendar update, the dates are:

Miamisburg City Schools wants to spotlight our wonderful staff members! This week's spotlight features Doug Shade, Computer Technician from our Technology Department.

More than 400 guests joined us at Bauer Primary School's first ever Breakfast with Santa! Children lit up meeting Santa, sharing their wishes, and enjoying a joyful morning together. The excitement on our students’ faces said it all.

A huge thank you to Bauer’s incredible PTA for hosting such a welcoming event and creating memories our kids will be talking about all season long.
