Calamity Day Announcement for Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Due to the forecast of extreme cold temperatures, we have made the decision to close school on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, for a calamity day. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, and we want everyone to remain warm and safe during these dangerously low temperatures. We understand that unplanned school closures can present challenges, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the health and safety of our school community.
Stay warm, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Thursday.
Due to the winter weather advisory in effect for our area beginning at 11:00 AM, we have made the difficult decision to close school today, Friday, January 10, 2025. Given our location in southern Montgomery County and the timing of this event, we anticipate potential issues with afternoon dismissal. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenging conditions.

Miamisburg City Schools will be closed for students and staff on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Please avoid visiting school grounds to allow maintenance teams to safely clear parking lots and sidewalks. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prepare for a safe return.
