Jane Chance Intermediate Welcomes New Principal Traci Hummer!
Miamisburg City Schools is excited to welcome Traci Hummer as the new principal of Jane Chance Intermediate School. Entering her 26th year in education, Hummer brings a wealth of experience, a passion for student success, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build and sustain a thriving school community.
Throughout her career, Hummer has served in a variety of educational roles, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the many components that contribute to a successful learning environment. She is committed to fostering a culture where students, staff, and families feel connected and supported.
As she begins this new chapter, Hummer is excited to become part of the Jane Chance and Miamisburg communities.

JCIS Families, we are canceling our summer clothing drive due to lack of interest. The families that requested clothing needs will be supported through other avenues within our district and area and have already been contacted. Once again, the clothing drive is canceled for tomorrow evening (4/24). Thank you!
Our very own Ed Carpenter, Custodian at Jane Chance Intermediate School, was chosen for the prestigious OASBO School Facility Support Staff Award! He was honored at the Gathering of Gratitude Awards Luncheon on Wednesday and again at our monthly board meeting this past week.
