Art teachers had the unique opportunity to showcase their work next to their students' work in the gallery at UD. Mrs. Newton invited former graduate Erica (Bell) Eyre to show as a former student. Also participating were Ashleigh Wade, Hailey Hunter, and Megan Newton.
March is Art in Our Schools Month which recognizes & celebrates the art curriculum, & the benefits students reap from art classes, including improved verbal, reading, & math skills, decision-making, risk-taking & inventiveness. We will be highlighting our artists this month! 🎨

Elementary Parents,
We would like to inform you that when elementary buses leave the school building, the principal will send a notification to families to keep you informed of your child's departure from school.

We have been cleared to dismiss students. This delay will also affect high school, middle, and elementary school buses, with student drop off running late. Once we complete the high school bus routes we will update everyone on possible middle and elementary delay times.Thank you!

Congratulations to Andrew Markworth for advancing to a Finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. He is one of approximately 15,000 finalists in the country. Andrew is a great representative of Miamisburg High School and the Miamisburg City School District!

Today is National School Resource Officer Appreciation Day! It is time to show our appreciation for the incredible School Resource Officers who serve as a bridge between staff, students, Miamisburg's police force and our community. SROs make their presence known by identifying unwelcome visitors on district property while training us how to react quickly during emergency situations. Let's take a moment today to thank them for their outstanding service. Give a "thank you" to Officer Copsey & Officer Albert when you see them!
The District is happy to announce the hiring of new Treasurer Justin Blevins! He brings a variety of experience to the role, spending time in the classroom at Mason Schools teaching science prior to becoming the benefits coordinator within the Treasurer's Office. Welcome Justin!
