Agriculture Education at Miamisburg High School is offered through a joint effort between the Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) and Miamisburg City Schools. MCS students can choose to attend the agricultural satellite program at MHS and take part in coursework in Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources (AFNR), Landscape Design, and Plant and Horticulture Science. These programs prepare students to care for livestock and even learn to manage a 50-acre grain farm.

Understanding Ohio School Finance begins with the basics! Property taxes are calculated based on the assessed value of property & the number of mills levied. A "mill" is a unit used in property taxation, essential for funding public schools. One mill equals one-tenth of a cent.
