Happy National Education Support Professionals Day! Education Support Professionals (ESPs) include individuals who provide essential clerical services, custodial and maintenance services, food services, health and student services, paraeducation, security services, skilled trades, technical services, and transportation services. Our ESPs are essential to providing our students with a good education – one that includes reliable transportation, safe and clean buildings, nutritious food, and a helpful administration. Thank you to every one of our devoted ESPs for your hard work!
Last week MMS Team 11 Students decorated graves for Veteran's Day at Hillgrove Cemetery.

-MMS Help Center Wednesdays from 3 to 4pm. This is an opportunity to work on homework and receive tutoring help. Transportation is not provided. Students will report to Mr. Madigan’s room (308) after school.
-Page Turners Book Club will meet on Wednesday. This book club is open to all students in grades 6-8. Please join Mrs. Chalfant and librarians from both Miamisburg and Miami Township libraries every Wednesday from after school until 3:45 in room 332.

-Any 7th or 8th grader interested in playing middle school baseball this coming Spring, there will be a parent/player informational meeting on Wednesday, October 26th at 6 P.M. in the MMS cafeteria.
The district wellness team hosted it’s 2nd annual Viking Fitness Poker Challenge. Teams of 4 staff members walked downtown Miamisburg to 5 stations. At each station the teams would do an exercise to receive a poker card. Best hand wins! Lots of fun and camaraderie.

-All swim and dive athletes staying after school for dryland today please meet Coach Derr in front of the gym doors after changing in the locker room. Dryland practice will end at 4:30.

Red Ribbon Week is October 23-31. This year’s Red Ribbon Celebration theme “Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free” is a reminder that everyday Americans across the country make significant daily contributions to their communities by being the best they can be by living Drug-Free!
Today marks the end of our first quarter at MMS. Students will not be receiving a paper copy of their grades. Parents are able to access grades via Progress Book. If you need help accessing your student's Progress book please reach out to their team teachers or grade level principal to get connected.
