-Parents wanting to watch from the bleachers are welcome to come, but you will not be permitted on the field. No students will be permitted on the bleachers; they must remain on the field at all times.

If your child has been seen by a dentist within the last 6 months or has a scheduled appointment with a dentist, they are not eligible at this time.

Starting next week, your child will participate in Ohio State Tests (OST). These tests are computer-based state tests that will be administered in elementary, middle, and high schools to measure students’ progress toward Ohio’s Learning Standards. Elementary students in grades 3-5 will be assessed in English language arts (ELA), mathematics, and science. Each state test has two parts.
Please see the listed dates below.
Grade 3
ELA OST - 4/15 & 4/16
Math OST - 4/29 & 4/30
Grade 4
ELA OST - 4/15 & 4/16

Grade 5

To help your child be successful, please encourage your child to:
Get a good night’s sleep before each testing day.
Eat a healthy breakfast to help maintain focus and energy.
Arrive at school on time and ready to begin.
Take practice opportunities and ask questions beforehand. https://login7.cambiumtds.com/student_core/V286/Pages/LoginShell.aspx?c=Ohio_PT&a=Student (email Mrs.Hager if your student forgets his/her student ID)
Read directions and questions carefully during the test.
Pace yourself and review answers if time allows.
Stay positive and give your best effort — that is all we ask!
State assessments are just one measure of student learning, but they provide important information that helps us support every learner’s success. We appreciate your partnership in encouraging students to do their very best. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs.Hager.
Fridays during testing weeks will be spirit Fridays hosted by student council.
