Calamity Day Announcement for Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Due to the forecast of extreme cold temperatures, we have made the decision to close school on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, for a calamity day. The safety and well-being of our students and staff are our top priorities, and we want everyone to remain warm and safe during these dangerously low temperatures. We understand that unplanned school closures can present challenges, and we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prioritize the health and safety of our school community.
Stay warm, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school on Thursday.

Due to the winter weather advisory in effect for our area beginning at 11:00 AM, we have made the difficult decision to close school today, Friday, January 10, 2025. Given our location in southern Montgomery County and the timing of this event, we anticipate potential issues with afternoon dismissal. The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we appreciate your understanding as we navigate these challenging conditions.

Miamisburg City Schools will be closed for students and staff on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Please avoid visiting school grounds to allow maintenance teams to safely clear parking lots and sidewalks. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prepare for a safe return.
The Lil' Shoppers Shoppe will be set up in our school library and run by parent volunteers.
There are gifts available for all members of your family: mom, dad, brothers, sisters, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, teachers, and even pets! Gifts are priced from approximately $0.25 to $15.00, with most between $3.00 to $8.00.
Our shop will run from December 10-12, during school hours, and December 13 during our Holiday breakfast-for-dinner event. All proceeds from the sale benefit our PTO which gives back to our students and staff. Thank you for your support- let's shop! :)

Two of the Miamisburg Primary Buildings celebrated the upcoming holiday break with a Balloons over Bear parade and a Mark Twain Staff Inflatable Race!

🦃 Thanksgiving Break is almost here! Miamisburg students and staff will be off from Wednesday, November 27th, through Friday, November 29th. Enjoy this time with family and friends, and return well-fed and recharged to finish the semester! See you on Monday!

Happy Halloween from Bear Primary! We had the absolute best day. Staff and students all looked amazing in their costumes. This afternoon we also had our first C.U.B. Club Time. The focus of C.U.B. Clubs is to increase students' connection, understanding and belonging with staff and peers. Students had to the opportunity to meet new peers outside of their homerooms and grade levels. They created an adorable caramel apple craft and had a sweet treat.
