On Monday, September 5, 2022 there will be no school. It’s Labor Day!
The next PTO Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 6:30pm. Please consider being a part of the gathering!
On Friday, September 16, 2022, there is no school for students. This is a Professional Development (PD) day for teachers.
Reminders:
Each week the Medlar View News will be published to the Medlar View Elementary section of the Miamisburg City Schools (MCS) webpage. As you may remember, The Miamisburg City Schools new website has officially set sail. The website provides information related to all Departments and Schools within our District. On the Medlar View (MV) page the News and Live Feed sections will replace the School Story features of DoJo. Also on the MV pages are Buttons linked directly to information on the following topics: the Handbook, Preschool, PTO, Dining (Nutrition Services), Parent Resources, Progress Book, Supply Lists and a Staff Directory. In addition, the Events section on the MV page provides a day-to-day review of events and activities taking place along with the letter day. The weekly Medlar View News will always include three sections. These sections will be as follows: Looking Ahead, a quick glance at the upcoming week, Announcements and Reminders.
The start of school time is 9:00am. For those families returning to Medlar View, please note this is a time change from last year. All elementary schools across the district adjusted to the 9:00am start time for the 2022-2023 school year.
The PTO Fall Mumkins/Mumsters Fundraiser kicked off on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. An information packet has been sent home with your son/daughter. Please consider supporting PTO by participating in the fundraiser as all money raised supports the STAR Musketeer students at Medlar View.
