Elementary Programming FAQs
Attendance is important at EVERY AGE. Start building this habit in preschool so students learn right away that going to school on time, every day is important. Even as children grow older and more independent, families play a key role in making sure students are showing up EVERY DAY to access learning opportunities and understand why attendance is so important for success in school and on the job.

DID YOU KNOW? Being out of school just 2 days per month adds up to 18 days; that's a full month of learning missed by the end of the year. Itโ€™s easy to underestimate how much school a child is missing if the days are intermittent. That's why EVERY DAY MATTERS!

Personalized Learning Day Scheduled for November 7, 2023 As a reminder, Miamisburg City School District students will participate in a personalized learning day on November 7, 2023. Our buildings will be closed that day to students to serve as polling locations. During this time, district staff will participate in professional development activities on-site to expand their educational knowledge and training. Personalized learning is an educational approach that customizes instruction to meet the distinct needs, interests and capabilities of individual students. It involves a variety of instructional methods, technology and curriculum to create a tailored learning experience. Please see the student choice boards to help your student plan their personalized learning day.
