Congratulations to Madison Hefelfinger for being awarded the Congressional Gold Medal Award which is the United States Congress' highest honor for young Americans and recognizes service and achievement. In order to receive this award, participants must complete 400 hours of voluntary public service, 200 hours of personal development, 200 hours of physical fitness, and 5 days/4 nights of exploration and expedition.
