From Nevaeh Back, FFA Chapter Reporter/President:
The Miamisburg - MVCTC FFA Chapter hosted their yearly FFA week. This event took place on 2/19 at Miamisburg High School.
During the school week, the FFA chapter hosted its week of FFA. Members dressed up for the week's themes. Tuesday was USA day, Wednesday was Camo day, and Thursday was FFA’s blue-and-gold. The chapter had their Ag Olympics on Wednesday, where they played Hungry Hungry Cows, Sharks & Minos, Colored, and other activities. They also had options of ice cream for the members at the end to celebrate the National Organization. Thursday, the chapter appreciated their teachers by hosting a teacher breakfast. The teachers got to have a variety of bacon, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, eggs, pancakes, fruit, coffee, and water. They may have only had three days, but they made it the best they could.
Overall, the teachers were greatly appreciated for the hard work that the chapter had put into appreciating them. The chapter also got a break and got to have fun with their friends and enjoy games and ice cream. The chapter gained new experiences and gratitude.
Miamisburg - MVCTC FFA member Ma’kyia Cook, who kindly participated and assisted with the activities , said, " The experience was fun, Giving out to the teachers was my favorite part, and during the Ag Olympics I really enjoyed eating ice cream with my friends.”
The chapter is not done yet; they have more events to look forward to coming soon, such as Hockey Night, State Convention, Banquet, and more. Stay tuned to hear more details.
