Fantastic Friday Baking with Calculus

In Calculus, students used Newton's Law of Cooling to calculate the time it would take for a cake to cool down to a good temperature to properly ice it. Students had to factor in the cake temperature out of the oven and the temperature of the room it was cooling in. Then, students brought their cake in to share with the class.

Thank you Mrs. Raiff for providing this REAL-WORLD experience and connecting the math to the students' lives outside of the classroom. #ConstantlyGrowing
