Fantastic Friday Squid Dissection

Students in Mrs. Spurlin's biology classes dissected a squid to observe the structure and function of adaptations for survival, including the chromatophores, arms, tentacles, sucker discs, water jet, beak, ink sac, and gills. They eventually pulled out the pen, which is a vestigial internal remnant of a mollusk shell.

Thank you Mrs. Spurlin for creating hands-on and engaging learning experiences for your students. #ConstantlyGrowing
