The Dayton LaSertoma Club's 63rd Annual Youth Service Awards Program was held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. At that time, 15 students from High Schools in Montgomery and Preble Counties were presented and recognized for their volunteerism. Madison Hefelfinger, from Miamisburg High School, was one of the recipients. We are proud of Madison and all of her accomplishments!
This award recognizes the students who go above and beyond by volunteering in their schools, communities, and beyond, and is not based on academic achievements. It is interesting to note, though, that these students are not only very effective volunteers, but are also scholars, athletes, office holders, and school leaders.
