The high school has been working with the Alliance of Therapy Dogs this school year. We are fortunate to have Skyy and Gandalf visit our school weekly and spend time with students in classrooms with staff members Mrs. Denterlein, Mrs. Buck, Mrs. Lay, and Mr. Hodge. Terry Calico is our dog handler and loves seeing the connections that are made with the students.
Thank you to our staff who have welcomed Skyy and Gandalf with open arms. One of our core beliefs at MHS is that RELATIONSHIPS MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The connections that are being made through this program have been very beneficial for our students. #StrongerTogether
