Through our strategic plan focus area of student ownership, we have empowered our students to focus on their passion projects. Equipping our students with the tools to pursue their passions allows them to not only grow and prepare for their futures but provides an opportunity for future students to build upon these ideas for their own success. We are grateful that our staff not only acknowledges the benefits of this program but is also excited to implement these ideas as well.
STEM Carnival
Miamisburg High School recently had their 2nd annual STEM Carnival. Children of all ages had the opportunity to learn about robots, build a catapult, get their faces painted, and even get a picture with Elvis. The kids enjoyed dressing up and had an enjoyable time while also learning a little science!
I want to thank the STEM Club who put an extraordinary amount of time planning and organizing this event. I would also like to thank Ms. Gilbride and other teachers and staff for their dedication and efforts to make sure the carnival was successful.
