4 students on cinderblock backdrop posing for FFA State photo

The Miamisburg MVCTC FFA Chapter had members work on a science fair project on ag/science. This event took place over a few months at Miamisburg High School.

During the last few months, the FFA chapter had members work to create an idea for an AgriScience fair project.

Members were able to figure out an issue in agriculture to research. While some members submitted these projects to the state, not all of them were selected. The members who were chosen as state finalists were Nevaeh Back, Aubrey Wilmont, Jacob Morgan, and Owen McNeal. They worked in groups of two to create and design these projects. They now prepare for their interviews and see if they can make it to nationals. A big congratulations and good luck to these four.

Overall, these groups are putting in hard work to succeed with these projects. They are continuing to do their best and are excited to compete and move up.

Miamisburg - MVCTC FFA member Nevaeh Back, who participated and is going to state, said, " Yes, this project was hard, but that's how life is, and it builds character. I had a lot of fun, and it was a great learning experience, and getting to work on going to state has been exciting.”

The chapter is not done yet; they have more events to look forward to coming soon, such as the State Convention, Banquet, and more. Stay tuned to hear more details.
