VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
Do you love the outdoors, animals, gardening, playing games, exploring and just having fun? Are you looking for a way to get some volunteer hours or just enjoy helping out with kids? The Learning Tree Farm is looking for responsible, enthusiastic high school-aged students (who have completed 10th grade by July 2023) to volunteer over the course of our three weeks of summer day camp, July 10th-27th. Student counselors will be partnered with a farm educator and a small group of campers, ages 5-11, for a day of discovery & fun on our 85 acres of farm and woodlands. REQUIRED NOTIFICATIONS
The following schools receive Title I funding: Bauer, Bear, Jane Chance, Kinder, and Mark Twain Elementary Schools. Federal law requires us to remind parents that you may request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child's classroom teachers including whether the teacher has met state qualification and licensing criteria for the grade level and subject areas taught, whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or temporary status in which State qualifications or licensing criteria are waived, the teacher's baccalaureate degree major, graduate certification, and field of discipline; and whether the student is provided services by paraprofessionals, and if so, their qualifications.
