Our Military Families

We appreciate the sacrifice made by our men and women of the armed forces. We salute you!

In the United States, less than one percent of our current population serves in the military. Here at Mound Elementary, our military children population is also less than one percent. While it is a small percentage, these families experience many challenges. Whether it is a new duty assignment, long hours at work, temporary duty assignments or deployments, we are here to help. Thank you to our military members and their families for their dedication and service!

"When I retired and my husband and I moved to Miamisburg, I accidentally enrolled our son at the wrong school.  We used Zillow as our source to determine which school he was to attend and that was incorrect. It wasn’t until he was on his second day of school that we realized our mistake.  Lesson learned - call the school to ensure you enroll your child at the correct school.  This is a phenomenal school district and they are more than willing to help our military families get settled into Miamisburg. "
