Honoring Our Military Families
At Kinder Intermediate, we deeply appreciate the sacrifice and dedication of our armed forces members and their families. In the United States, less than one percent of our population serves in the military, and here at Kinder, our military children population reflects this same small percentage. Yet, we know that every military family faces unique challenges, whether they involve new duty assignments, long hours, temporary deployments, or extended time apart. We are here to provide support, stability, and a warm welcome to these families.
Thank you to our military members and their families for your courage and service. We salute you!

A Personal Commitment to Our Military Families
"As the spouse of a 23-year Air Force member, I understand firsthand the challenges and triumphs that come with military life. From navigating new duty assignments to adapting to the uncertainty of deployments, I’ve experienced many of the same transitions and emotions our military families face. Here at Kinder Intermediate, we work tirelessly to make sure our military students feel welcomed and included from day one. Our goal is to make each school transition—from one station to the next—not only smooth but filled with excitement and joy rather than fear and apprehension.
For spouses of deployed service members, please know that we are here to support you. Our Kinder community is committed to offering a strong network of care and assistance during your family’s journey. You can count on us."
