Miamisburg facilities are among the best in the area and are kept in fine condition because of a planned maintenance program. The renewal of permanent improvement levies has allowed the district to keep roof and boiler replacement on a schedule. It has also permitted additional classroom space, the upgrading of equipment, furniture, textbooks, painting, classroom carpeting, and resurfacing of playgrounds and parking lots. The current emphasis has been a focus on technology in the classroom. At the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade levels, each classroom is equipped with five networked PCs with one 20-station computer lab housed at Wantz Middle School. The high school currently supports three computer labs plus a "mini-lab" in the Media Center. The Miamisburg technology plan is based on creating a setting which will integrate technology and education in the best interests of the students, staff, and the community in preparation for the twenty-first century.
