Shawn Fayette, Miamisburg's defending state champion wrestler, signed a national letter-of-intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Northern Illinois University. Fayette, who became MHS's first state wrestling champion last season, winning the 130-pound class, said of his decision, “I just felt very comfortable with the NIU coaching staff and liked the campus during my visit."
